CENTER FOR CRAFT
Arts & Culture
THE BRAND
Center for Craft increases access to craft by empowering and resourcing artists, organizations, and communities through grants, fellowships, and programs that bring people together. They believe craft matters.
To mark the 20th anniversary of the Center’s oldest grant program, the Craft Research Fund, we created a year-long campaign to tell stories of why craft research matters and how accessing the liminal history of craft shapes its future at a time when we need it most.
the work
We worked with the leadership team at Center for Craft to create a visually branded campaign that encompassed online and in-person events and activations as well as video storytelling, digital elements, and a one-of-a-kind print zine. The campaign raised awareness of the Craft Research Fund to help reach its target audiences: academics and artists, donors, and the community at large.

“Craft research often begins in liminal spaces: in the margins, in oral traditions, in the under-documented, and in the overlooked. The Craft Research Fund invests in the thinkers who explore these spaces and make their meaning visible.”
