OFTB client Jettie Rae’s Oyster House has been named one of Tripadvisor’s 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Casual Dining Restaurants in the United States, earning the No. 21 spot on the national list.
Jettie Rae’s is part of The Scheffer Group, an Asheville-based hospitality group that also includes fellow OFTB client Vinnie’s Neighborhood Italian, which landed at No. 15 on the same list.
Tripadvisor’s Best of the Best title is its highest Travelers’ Choice designation, determined by the reviews and opinions travelers share on the platform over a 12-month period. Fewer than one percent of Tripadvisor’s eight million listings receive the honor.
Jettie Rae’s holds a 4.8 rating across more than 1,200 Tripadvisor reviews. The recognition highlights what locals and visitors have come to know about the Charlotte Street restaurant: seafood favorites including oysters, shrimp and lobster rolls served in a warm, welcoming neighborhood setting.
Only 25 restaurants from across the country made Tripadvisor’s Casual Dining list this year, putting Jettie Rae’s in impressive national company.
We’ve had the privilege of telling plenty of Jettie Rae’s stories, but recognition shaped by the experiences of the people actually sitting at the table feels particularly meaningful.
