Vinnie’s, Jettie Rae’s Earn National Recognition from TripAdvisor

Two Asheville favorites have once again earned national acclaim in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Awards for 2025, placing them among the top 1% of restaurants in the United States.

  • Jettie Rae’s Oyster House ranked #4 in the U.S., marking its third consecutive year on the list.

  • Vinnie’s South landed at #23 for Casual Dining in the U.S., its second consecutive year among the country’s best.

The Best of the Best awards recognize restaurants with the highest traveler ratings and reviews from diners across the globe. Both restaurants are part of The Scheffer Group, founded by Asheville restaurateur Eric Scheffer, which also includes Vinnie’s Original, Gan Shan, and Cielo Culinary Experiences.
